You're A Little Too Late

To be exact, you are 1 1/2 years too late.

You surprised me when you asked. Not that the question itself is surprising but because it was you who asked. And honestly, it made me laugh for the question you posed should have been made in the past. Way way back.

I just realized, maybe the reason why it never happened is because we never knew which page we are on (well, aside from the fact that cowardice gets in the way). There are many times we are exactly on the same page but then, every time I ask you where you are, you never answered honestly. It was never my trait to be so self-confident on this matter. It had always been a guessing game for us for me. And there were times I would just give away my position but you never did yours.

And now, people are asking why it can't happen now. (Don't blame them for being so nosy, because I think they are not. It is just that when people see smoke, they know there's a fire somewhere.) I can think of many reasons why but I can only think of one that is most appropriate. Maybe because for once, we are on different pages. Maybe we are even on different books. How would I know, you never tell me.

Maybe, this will be the last time I would write about you. But then again, it will be up to you if you want me to have something more to write.
