On Books and Movies

I love books and movies. As a matter of fact, I'd live without going out of the house so long as there is an ample supply of both or either.

And for the past few weeks, I am really getting bothered. Neither in a good or bad way. Just plain bothered. Or should I say concerned? Whatever.

Quite a handful of books I have read in the past and even those I am planning to read are turning into movies! Just to name the few (and by far, the news on this list struck me most)

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger
Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella
Veronika Decides to Die by Paulo Coelho (Kate Bosworth will play Veronika)
Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist (and Michael Cera will play Nick! Yey to me!)

Not that I don't like seeing them on the big screen, actually I am excited. Well, except for the fact that James Pattinson will play Edward, I am actually thrilled to see them.

So what is bugging me? Well, I felt erm, old. Because, in the past, I read some books because I saw the movie. But now, it's the other way around. Well, aside from Harry Potter which I read before it hit Hollywood, in the past, I haven't read the books yet because I am too young to even know about it. But now, argh!

Okay, okay. Scrap everything I just said. I know I am being irrational and melodramatic.

Let us all pretend I didn't write this.
