Imelda Marcos' Famous Lines

Eventhough most people hate Imelda Marcos for her extravagant nature, I dare say, I find her interesting, just as I find Kris Aquino annoying and interesting at the same time. No dull moments. One time, I listened to RX's Top List program. And I happened to catch Imelda Marcos' famous lines. And so I searched for the list and here goes:

1. “I have never been a material girl. My father always told me never to love anything that cannot love you back.”

2. “I did not have three thousand pairs of shoes, I had one thousand and sixty.”

3. “If you know how rich you are, you are not rich. But me, I am not aware of the extent of my wealth. That's how rich we are.”

4. “People say I'm extravagant because I want to be surrounded by beauty. But tell me, who wants to be surrounded by garbage?”

5. “Win or lose, we go shopping after the election.”

6. "I get so tired listening to one million dollars here, one million dollars there, it's so petty."

Made me laugh so hard that morning. Really a damn interesting person she is.
