The Citi Experience

Yey! After a long (long, long, long) time, I'm back in the blogging world. My internship made me so busy and tired that I don't even have time to blog nor remember my friends' birthdates! Sorry..

My internship stint with Citibank is finally over. I must say, my six weeks with them were worth the time and effort. One might say that my experience with them is quantifiable through the allowance I received from Citi. I should say, not. Just like the analogy in the song Seasons of Love, how can I measure a year, but in this case, the experience? In number of people I meet, in number of funny moments I had with my teammate, in number of papers I shred, stapled, punched and filed, in number of different people I got to see during my MRT commuting, in number of MRT stored value tickets, in number of minutes we practice for the presentation, in number of smiles, pats, "Good job!" and Thank-you's I received from my supervisors, in number of jokes my teammates and I shared together, in number of times we rode the ultra-fast elevator, in number of lunches we had, in number of times I had to repair my shoes and in number of life's lessons learned and realized during the internship. If I would let the allowance measure my experience, it would just make the entire thing mean so much less than what it is really worth of.

Because of my Citi experience this summer, I realized quite a few things. And somehow, there are some things that changed within me. I somehow matured. Yes, I know, there would be lots of my friends who would think not. They never saw the mature me often, anway. There would be privileged people who would and I think as long as they know me, it is fine. Everything's fine.
To Jean Avy, you understand right? :)

As of now, I seriously consider working with Citi. Yes, yes. I hear quite a few objections here and there. I don't care. Ivan and I know better what I am talking about! Hehehe..

Citi, wait for me! I shall return, promise. :)
