Hail DSL or maybe not

Yesterday morning, I received a text message from my brother that PLDT (finally) hooked us up with DSL. After 1 1/2 months of waiting, FINALLY, they brought it in.

And so I was in Cavite for the weekend.

However pathetic it may seem, I chose to go home and experience DSL instead of watching Pirates of the Caribbean and going to Libis. And I didn't make the wrong choice after all. It was download haven for me.

Hooray DSL! But then, somethings, especially great things, never last.

I could have been PLDT DSL #1 cheerleader if they did not disconnect me in the middle of my download session of a Jap series. I was getting a good connection in utorrent. It was around 4 in the morning. But after some time, I noticed, it became slower and slower. But I didn't care much. I thought it was just because it is already morning. So I left the pc open and slept.

Alas! I was awaken after 3 hours by my brother. He asked why I left the pc open. And I told him, in a very irritated and annoyed shout (believe me, I am never pleasant to anyone who bothers me in the middle of my REM cycle) that of course I left it open because I was downloading and they should keep it at it. But no! He told me there was no connection after all! Damn! And so I said I would just have to take care of it after I get my most precious sleep.

The connection was dead. Too bad, it was a Sunday. There is no technical support agents available during Sundays. So I had to spend my Sunday without connection. Argh.

But having no connection wasn't bad after all. I was able to do some things for myself. :)

But still, I am pissed off with PLDT!

Regarding the exam I missed, my professor agreed that I take only the second part of the exam and she'll just multiply it by 2 to compensate for the one I missed. And I already took it. Hope I passed. hehe.
