Hello! Busy ka?

...or something like that.

And just like an auto-reply plug-in in Yahoo Messenger, I wouls always say, "Okay lang. Busy." And I somehow make people believe I am actually busy. Anyway, I'm from the University of the Philippines, as they see it, how can I not be busy?

Most of the time, I am relieved that the word/idea busy had been invented. For if not, how can I dodge gazillions of non-sensical inquiries? of unwanted invitations (sorry for being so blunt)?

At times, I am actually happy that I am busy because I really have a reason to pass up on things. But most of the time, I get irritated because I have to pass up on something bacause I am busy. Er...Do I make any sense? Nevermind.

I'm busy. The perfect excuse to avoid connection and interaction with others. It nevers fails (as long as you keep pretending you are actually busy and that you have the talent of being so persistent in keeping the lie as realistic as possible). One or two more I'm busy's are more than enough to send someone out your door. A perfect opportunity to have yourself all to yourself. It is like a piece of magical paper with a prayer of some sort that if attached to a person or thing, that person would be protected from whatever. That person becomes quasi-invincible.

And the most important thing is that I am busy is the most gentle way of saying "Leave."

Why am I writing about this? Wala lang. I think this is enough for now. I am busy. :P
