I'm Coming Out

Yes, out of the house, thank you. Eversince I went back from QC here in Cavite for the summer, I have never gone out. Sure, I have been out of the house for like twice (in two weeks!) but I have not gone out as in OUT!

Yesterday, I went out early for my intenship interview in Citibank Makati. And along the way, I was panicking. Shoot. I'll be late in my 9.30am appointment! The usual 1 1/2 hours travel became 3 1/2 hours! Of all days, it has to happen on that day. Really, I am sooo never. And there's this one person I was talking to (texting that is..) who didn't even bother soothing my nerves. Instead of a "calm down." message, he would instead say, "wala, late ka na talaga." Thank you very much!

And then, I arrived at Citibank by 10:30. Ivan was already there. He's also late by the way in his 8:30 appointment. When I saw him there, he said he can't breathe. He's panicking as well. We're counting on this internship this summer to not make our summer miserable. Then, one lady asked who we were and we were there for. Then she checked it. It was a make or break for us.

*drumrolls*

We were scheduled for an interview not on a Wednesday but the day after! We were 23 hours early! Would you believe that?! A day early! The person who called us made a mistake. Maybe he thought the 12th is a Wednesday. Or whatever. But a thorn has been pulled out of our chest. Thank heavens!

We were interviewed anyway since we were already there. And we got accepted. Ivan and I are on the same team! Wuhoo!

In our team, there are 4 of us. Three slots are already filled. There's a guy who has already been accepted. They are looking for another female intern. (Gaah! Why can't it be a guy as well?!) Oooooh... I am excited to meet the guy. I hope he's cute. :p We (Ivan and I) are wishing he's from Ateneo or La Salle and he's cute. Hahaha! I'm really excited.

Anyway, aside from the excitement of working for the summer, I am soooo excited because Jean, Caloy, Shaun and I will be here in Manila for the summer! Yey! :) Guys, I miss you so much already!

Citibank Side Story:
Just breaking the ice here. While Ivan was being interviewed by Ma'am Leah, I was alone outside, near the entrance. There's this big guy. When I say big, I mean big. He's like 23 or 24 years old. Anyway, he was on his way out. He was actually out of the door when he went back and asked me, "Batchmate ba tayo from somewhere? Because I think I've known you from somewhere." And the nice me just smiled and said "No. Sorry." How can we be batchmates? He looks older than me, I am not yet a graduate for heaven's sake! Second, I studied in Cavite before I went to UP. I texted Caloy and told him that. He told me, "Baka wala nang maisip na pick-up line." I got scared. Why?! Gosh. He's big! @_@
