haha! You very well know who you are, the one who asked me to post something about this. But in all fairness to you, this is really blogworthy for me. haha! I am a person who is easy to please and such event made me happy, really. So here goes.
I have always wanted roadtrips. Just be inside the car with friends, good music playing or just talking about anything under the sun, with or without exact destination. That for me is fun. Moreso, I have always wanted to have a certain region that I can claim that I have travelled, I mean not just one city but 2 or 3 or basta, a big part of it. So the obvious choice was Region4-A CALABARZON. Before Tuesday night, the remaining part of CALABARZON that I haven't been to was Batangas. Technically, I have been to Batangas, in Caleruega but that was super small part of Batangas that I didn't count that in.
So, there. After I have gone with K-anne to a friend's party and then met Kuya and Virge in Philcoa Jolibee, the next thing I knew, we're off to Batangas. Why did we go to Batangas on a Tuesday night without any plans beforehand?? I don't know with Virge but Kuya and I were just there to support a friend in times of *ahem* needs. :)
We were with two other people actually. And one of them, I knew because CBA is such a small world. But I didn't have any idea who she really is aside from knowing her name and her familiar face. Although, I have this notion that she is a reserved lady and who doesn't talk much unless asked. But I think, that night, both of those notions went down the drain. She is actually a fun person and there was never a dull moment with her. To a friend, you know who you are, YOU MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE. :)
I actually enjoyed the trip. The people I was with may think the rain was such a kill-joy but for me, it just made the entire night more enjoyable. Well, except that it's cold, but still, nothing beats a rainy night. haha! It even made me not able to resist the temptation to buy myself a cup of Starbucks (argh. I just cant resist Starbucks coffee when it is raining!). It really rained so hard that at one point, Virge's car almost submerged in the flood (like mini flash flood). By the time we're on our way back to QC, that was around 1:30 in the morning, we were like poor puppies drenched in rain! The sad part is, we couldn't turn the aircon off because the glasses will moist. So it was really a very cold night (except for the one who had a very WARM night. haha!). I was able to arrive home by 2:30am. haha!
A FRIEND (you know who you are) once told me that Kuya and him went an extra mile for my *ahem* needs. We went all the way to Alabang, from QC, for erm... EGGS (haha!new codenames?). Now, we're even! haha! That means, we owe Kuya a roadtrip to satisfy his *ahem* needs. Kuya, I hope you don't intend to take us all the way to er, Batanes?? haha! But Baguio will do just fine! haha! :P
I will not forget that night! And I am 100% sure, someone will never ever ever forget that night! :P
