The Relics of the Past

Just earlier tonight, my Dad called me from upstairs. He told me, "Levs, tingnan mo 'to." And there, he hold two pictures in his hands, one in each hand, the image, facing me. And I was like, "Waaah! Mga crush ko yan nung high school!" And I told him one was actually my elder sister's classmate.

Back in high school, it was not really hard to get pictures of our crushes. Aling Poleng, the school's official photographer, was then (or maybe until now) every stalker's bestfriend. You can buy from her pictures of your crushes. She won't mind if you're a girl, ordering pictures of a guy and vice versa. But the pictures I have of my crushes were both given by my friends. Since each order would contain 4 copies of the same face, they ma have decided to share 2 or even 3 of the pictures they bought.

It was actually funny looking at their pictures. They both looked so totoy. And I can quite imagine how I saw them, then. They look not young to me, for one. They're both older than me so I saw them as both mature ( if maturity even applies to them, come to think of it). But looking at their faces right now, no doubt, they look so totoy. They were both my crushes during my first year in high school. And well, many came after them. Some crushes I don't have a picture of. Too bad, it was actually fun thinking what I actually like about the guys! haha!

He's my sister's classmate. I have had series of embarassing moments with him courtesy of my teachers. Talk about being role models to the student, Sir Edwin and Sir Victa??

He's a year older than Paeng. The school's ultimate dancer crush ng bayan. Although, I didn't have as much infatuation with him than what I had with Paeng and my other crush (who came in the picture 2 years later.)

If giving pictures to a friend of his/her crush is the real measure of friendship, then all of us are best of friends! haha!
